Meet Our Speaker

Rebecca Brock is a gifted women’s teacher with a passion for the Scripture and for equipping women to teach women in the local church. She graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Communication Arts and has since earned an MEd in English and an MA in Bible. Rebecca teaches women’s ministry courses in the School of Bible and Church Ministries at Maranatha Baptist University where her husband, Bryan, is a Bible professor. The Brocks live in Oconomowoc, WI and are on staff at their home church where Rebecca directs the women’s ministry. Rebecca enjoys investing in their four young adult children, bargain shopping, decorating, cheering her children on at sporting events, and sushi dates with her husband!

Meet our Musicians

Originally from Pennsylvania, David Ledgerwood became a Christian in 1973 while serving in an Air Force Field Band. He began teaching at Maranatha Baptist University in Watertown, Wisconsin, in 1986 and recently retired after chairing the Music Department from 2006-2023. He earned degrees in Music Education, Sacred Music, and Music Theory and Composition. He married his high-school sweetheart, Kim Wilson, in 1974, and they have eight grown children. He enjoys writing and arranging music and is active in the musical ministry of his local church, Calvary Baptist in Watertown. He and Kim began presenting joint speech music programs while they were both in high school. They are honored to be able to provide this program.
Can I bring my friends?
Yes! We would love for you to bring as many friends as you want. Because of the length and formality of this event, we do ask that only high-school aged and above attend.
Is there a cost?
There is no ticket charge, but a free will offering will be taken.
Is there a meal?
This year, tea is served with hors d'oeuvres.
Is there a minimum age for the event?
This event is for ladies that are high school aged and above.
